In April 2015, Goodwill Industries of Central Indiana tapped me as President and CEO – my dream job. Having spent the previous 12 years leading Goodwill’s retail division, it was humbling to know colleagues and board members trusted me to continue the incredible growth our organization had experienced over the previous decades. It is the people of Goodwill, those we serve in our communities and those on the front lines of our work, who drive the organization forward and fuel my passion for our mission.As one of the largest Goodwill nonprofits in North America, we have great potential to remove the barriers to education, employment and health that so many individuals face in central Indiana. It is the potential of those individuals that guides the strategic endeavors of Goodwill. We will continue to look for innovative ways to combat the issues Hoosiers in poverty, with disabilities or other barriers face in their efforts to become independent and economically self-sufficient. It is through collaboration with individuals and community partners that central Indiana will achieve its greatest potential. I look forward to connecting with those of you who want to work together to advance this mission.
