About Gonzalo C.

I am a Spanish Student graduated cum laude from the University of Florida in Mechanical Engineering. I came from Spain to study in the United States about 2013. It was a big challenge to move to a country where they speak a different language, and they have a very different culture. At the University of Florida, I was able to discover my passion for engineering projects and group collaboration. I actively worked in the design team and manufacturing of a formula-style racecar, specializing in the electrical system and the technological infrastructure of the team.Also, I have realized the need to help other who have not as many resources as I do in the United States. That is why I co-founded and took the treasurer position over a group of people that helped to raise fundings for wells in Rwanda through the 10 days campaign. Within the next years, I want to transfer the skill I have learned in this two organizations to make sure they keep growing and the new members have the potential to do even more than we did. Also, I want to keep traveling and expand my knowledge of different cultures.
