ABOUT GONZALO BASULTO

Architect and Master in Architecture (M.Arch). I was graduated with honors and awarded with the extraordinary prize of University of Valladolid. I also was awarded with a scholarship from the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Spain to collaborate with the Recognized Research Group LABPAP or Landscape Laboratory of the University of Valladolid. In 2018, I became an Arquia fellow in Fundación Metropoli in Madrid, working on territorial planning and urban innovation worldwide since then. Since 2020, I am projet leader at Dietmar Feichtinger Architects in Paris, France. I have also travelled, lived and developed my professional practice in different countries such as Spain, Vietnam, Chile and Saudi Arabia. I have attended to different congresses and seminars, including the lecture \"Architectures in time\" in the XI International Congress of Constructions with Traditional Technique, the AR & PA Biennial of Architecture and Heritage and the II International Congress of Architectural Criticism “Critic All” of the ETSAM, having been published in different media. I have won several national and international competitions such as the First Prize of the IFLA Competition, International Federation of Landscape Architects; the Second Prize of AR & PA Young Talent Award or the Finalist Project of the Mies van der Rohe Foundation, Fear of Columns Competition. My interests approach issues such the relationship between climate, landscape and construction as a form of dialogue between architecture and territory, as well as heritage, archaeological settlements and architecture interventions.
