ABOUT GONÇALO ESTEVES

I build and scale human-training businesses and systems, end-to-end — from product design and delivery to marketing, sales, and team execution — in high-pressure, high-consequence environments. My work sits at the intersection of human performance, systems engineering, and extreme contexts. I specialize in turning complex capability into clear offers, repeatable operations, and teams that can execute under stress.I currently operate across two tightly linked domains:Human Performance & Training BusinessesI’m the founder of Self-Defense 4 All (NJ), a human-performance training company that has served students across PT, NO, UK, and the US.I own the business end-to-end: • Product and curriculum architecture • Marketing, messaging, and sales • Instructor training, quality control, and retention systems • Operational cadence, pricing, and deliveryThis work is a living laboratory for resilience, decision-making under pressure, fatigue management, and recovery. It directly informs how I design training, build teams, and structure organizations where failure matters.Systems, Space & Mission-Critical OperationsIn parallel, I lead and advise space and regulated organizations on systems engineering, operations, and readiness. • Founder & CTO, Argo Space Technologies — systems engineering, product leadership, and Scrum support for lunar ISRU, manufacturing, and crew-training startups • 3× NASA Challenge sAward Winner — Systems Engineering Lead for Break the ICE Challenge • AIAA Chair, Commercial Space Operations Subcommittee; contributor to S-102 Mission Assurance Standards • Chief Experience Officer, Space Nation — rebuilt sales and marketing, delivery systems, customer experience and service. • Principal Process Manager, Astra — supported launch readiness through agile systems engineering and manufacturing integrationEarlier in my career, I led large-scale transformations in automotive and finance (including Jaguar Land Rover and Bank of America), running global programs where risk, timing, and execution were non-negotiable.How I workI don’t separate people from systems.I build clear products, align them to real demand, create sales and delivery engines, and train teams to operate with discipline, trust, and adaptability — whether the environment is a dojo, a factory, a launch site, or a boardroom.I’m currently building GE Force, a next-generation human-performance platform merging astronaut stress-inoculation, fight-science movement, and AI-assisted training.Protector. Leader. Force for Good.
