Bike Bus Manager @Hub Cycling
The HUB Bike Bus Program is funded by the Province of BC and is helping schools to start a bike bus with the support of trained bike instructors. In April 2025 five schools across BC started participating in the program. More schools are starting parent-led bike buses thanks to our resources and support.

ABOUT MAYA GOLDSTEIN
Bike to School advocate & Bike Bus specialist - organizer and leader of a weekly Bike Bus in Gordon Elementary in Vancouver and the Bike Bus manager at HUB Cycling. Maya discovered the world of Bike Buses when she noticed the bike racks at her children\'s school were nearly empty. She set out to change that by starting a Friday Bike Bus back in April 2023 which is still running weekly. In October 2024 Maya joined HUB Cycling in the new role as the Bike Bus Manager. In April 2025 five schools across BC started participating in the HUB Bike Bus program, and more schools are starting parents-led bike buses thanks to our resources and support. Maya is also the Founder of Kids on Wheels, an exceptional cycling education program for the early years. An expert in developing cycling education curriculum, programs and staff training. Volunteer role as the Active Transportation Lead in Gordon Elementary PAC. We raised over in a year for Active Transportation initiatives. For the last two years also the volunteer coordinator and organizer of the School Streets Program. Working closely with the City of Vancouver staff and managing over 30 parent volunteers in this program. Recipient of HUB Cycling 2023 People\'s Choice Award: Best Individual; for starting and leading the Gordon Elementary Bike Bus. Recipient of the Balance Bike Program Award for Kids on Wheels from the Early Childhood Mobility Coalition in 2021.
