Kairos Power is an advanced nuclear reactor startup focused on integrated development and manufacturing of zero-carbon energy technology. My efforts there include financial structuring and analysis of transactions, business planning for the company, and supporting business development. I am building on my prior experience in financial advisory focused on structured finance and project development in the power sector as well as other infrastructure and capital-intensive industries. In addition to limited-recourse project finance, I am also experienced with corporate and municipal financings, as well as project development. My experience spans financial and commercial matters across the lifecycle of capital projects, including underwriting and structuring of financing, loan portfolio management (ranging from workouts to strong credits), and project development and procurement. My capabilities include financial structuring, credit analysis, financial modeling, contract review, due diligence, market analysis, managing and hiring staff, business development, and project management, among other things. I have a proven ability to collaborate and work successfully in dynamic business environments, with experience including merger integration from a firm with under 50 employees into a Fortune 500 firm with over employees and now supporting the growth of a R&D-intensive cleantech startup. I have also worked on projects in a wide range of sectors and with many types of cleantech and other technologies: solar PV, concentrating solar, geothermal, onshore wind, offshore wind, electric transmission and distribution, nuclear power, automotive (ICE and EV), container ships, rail, commercial real estate, water and wastewater systems, data centers, offshore oil, and roads and bridges.
