   Portfolio of businesses pursuing contrarian bets across two themes:(a) Advanced manufacturing in large and boring industries (b) Multi-category plays in consumer brands.1) Factorial (Apparel; Advanced Manufacturing, Deep-Tech; 20••••25)Frontier Apparel Manufacturing to fix current production throughput levels and turnaround times, both massively unreliable to brands/buyers. The backend of apparel is archaic and ineffidicant. A robotics-based IP is the answer to drastically increase stitching speed + throughput, to to meet demand needs. We incubated and operated a tech-powered garment factory, produced for prominent apparel brands + Lemonade. 2) Lemonade (Consumer, E-Commerce; 20••••25)Luxury goods at non-luxury Prices built with an on-demand model instead of an inventory-led approach. Multi-category brand retailing ‘luxury without labels’ in Singapore & India that turned profitable in menswear. We vertically integrated to thwart inventory risk and prioritised B2B apparel manufacturing. 3) Lemonade Brands (Consumer, House of Brands; 2021)Brands built from scratch- Daisy Capoor (organic dips), Still Sparkling (affordable still + sparkling water in sustainable packaging), El Vacay (travel themed perfume), Fridays@5 (design-forward athleisure) & Lemonade (affordable luxury); Contrarian to Rollups, we pursued a first-principles approach to build from scratch.
