ABOUT GOKHAN CAKMAK

As Global Head of Supply Chain and Strategy, Radioconjugates at AstraZeneca, I lead the global supply chain and logistics agenda for Fusion’s radiopharmaceutical portfolio. Owning strategy, budget, planning, timelines, risk‑mitigation, and forecasting to ensure resilient, compliant, and patient‑centric supply. I oversee end‑to‑end radioisotope strategy and operations, including Ac‑225 and alongside R&D isotopes; provide business leadership and oversight of external CDMOs to secure reliable long‑term capacity; and develop network strategies, logistics, and 3PL distribution models to enable successful global commercial launch. I translate clinical and commercial demand into reliable supply across drug substance, drug product, and finished goods, and I establish and run the Sales & Operations Planning process for clinical and commercial supplies. I also lead inventory management, ERP and related system implementations, and master data governance to strengthen supply chain performance.I bring 20+ years of leadership in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries, with prior roles at Novartis, Siemens Healthineers, and Eczacıbaşı‑Monrol Nuclear Products (now Curium Pharma). Before joining AstraZeneca, I served as Head of Supply Chain, North America, Radioligand Therapy (RLT) at Novartis, accountable for end‑to‑end supply, system and process improvements, and deployment of innovative technologies to enhance efficiency and speed‑to‑patient.My expertise spans strategic procurement and supplier partnering, CDMO oversight, network design, production planning, S & OP/IBP, warehouse optimization, logistics, quality and compliance, and risk management.
