ABOUT GOHAR KHAN
I am a Tax Partner at KPMG, based in Manchester within the Asset Management & Operational Taxes team. I lead both the KPMG EU Funds Group and Pension Fund Tax Advisory business. My clients include a number of institutional investors including investment fund, pension fund, life assurance and sovereign wealth fund clients both in the UK and outside the UK. I have advised clients on filing and pursuing EU withholding tax reclaims across a number of European markets. I also advise a number of UK pension fund clients, a combination of trust based and local government pension schemes across all areas of tax including UK and overseas tax compliance obligations, withholding tax, alternative investments and tax governance.
