About Rakshit Goel
From directing aircraft safely through congested skies to shaping operational improvements in manufacturing plants, my career has been built on thriving in high-stakes environments where precision, speed, and clear communication are critical. For eight years as an Air Traffic Controller in India, I made split-second decisions that safeguarded thousands of lives. I navigated crises, coordinated VVIP movements during global events, and contributed to strategic initiatives at the national level that influenced the future of Indian aviation. These experiences shaped me into a leader who remains unfazed by pressure, sharpens every decision with critical thinking, and gets things done with accuracy and impact, skills that are core to who I am. Today, as an MBA candidate and Tauber Fellow at the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, I’m expanding that foundation into the broader world of business and operations. My work at Stanley Black & Decker reinforced my passion for solving complex challenges, improving raw material flows, driving efficiency gains worth millions, and enabling sustainable operations. I’m drawn to opportunities where I can combine my analytical rigor, operational expertise, and cross-functional collaboration to create meaningful, lasting results, whether in aviation, manufacturing, or beyond.
