Responsible for the development, design, and implementation of a hydrometallurgy process for the recovery of critical metals from EV battery waste black mass. The critical metals are then utilized to produce battery-ready cathode active material (CAM) thereby completing the circular rechargeable battery chain. My duties include:Designing and conducting laboratory-scale hydrometallurgy experiments.Commissioning and operation of a laboratory-scale pilot plant.Designing and simulation of the up-scaled pilot plant.Overseeing and managing the operation of the pilot-scale hydrometallurgical recycling plants to improve product quality and process safety.Leveraging insights from pilot plant trials to fine-tune and optimize processes for seamless integration into large-scale production.Facilitating the transfer of proven processes from pilot-scale to large-scale production
