Hi! My name’s Godiya Mangai, and I’m a rising second-year honors student at North Carolina State University. I’m pursuing a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Psychology on the pre-med track, with a double minor in Africana Studies and Health, Medicine, and Human Values. I am committed to understanding the connections between mental health, medicine, and culture, specifically within underrepresented communities. Through my academic pursuits at NC State, I hope to bridge gaps in mental health care and work toward a career in psychiatry or pediatrics where I can make a meaningful difference in the communities around me.
