Assists in managing the Federal Perkins Grant Budget for the school division• Oversees CTE Program expenses to ensure they meet the Perkins Grant funding requirements • Prepares and manages the Marketing Program’s budget• Plans, initiates, and manages administrative activities and processes• Supports and works collaboratively with principals and teaching staff to effect horizontal and vertical continuity and articulation of the instructional programs throughout the division• Develops, plans, and conducts professional development activities for building-level administrators, instructional staff, and trainers in support of division-wide initiatives, new classroom procedures, instructional materials, incorporating technology into instruction, using the division wide learning management systems and hybrid learning• Develops and updates instructional materials including but not limited to curriculum, curriculum guides, parent and student documents, and assessment instruments• Researches and selects instructional materials and equipment for the Marketing & Entrepreneurship programs• Develops short and long-term goals for the curricular areas with an emphasis on K-12 alignment and articulation• Provides ongoing instructional support and classroom management assistance to new and veteran teachers• Works collaboratively with staff members and other departments• Observes teachers as requested by building administrators and provides immediate feedback on their progress as well as provides support• Plans, organizes, and executes the annual DECA District Leadership Conference for students, and teachers division wide and the annual New Teacher Institute for new teachers• Assists in the planning and execution of the annual division wide Navigating the Night and the Stem Trifecta for students and parents• Assists with overseeing and departmental adherence to school board regulations and policies
