October 2020 TILL DATE. Client: Bank of England The Projects: Major upgrade of Payment and Trade Reporting and Analytics sytems, two key programmes at the Bank. Also designing an on-prem Data Analytics platform for brining together multi-source datasets for Payments, Trade Transactions, Liquidity Information, Master Data, and other Financial Risk Datasets. This platform is being built for multiple in-flight projects and my responsiility includes design of the platform and aligning these projects to define the common ways of working for the platform. My Role: Data based Solutions expert, system architect and designer, data modeller, Agile Planning Software Delivery Method: Scaled Agile framework for very large programmes Key Technologies: SQL Server 2019,(use of latest features such as partitioning, column store indexing, in-memory tables) SSIS, Tableau, Golden Gate, interface to Microsoft Aure cloud solution, BIML Flex Automation Tool Conceptul, Logical and Physical Data Modelling, Normalised and Star Schema, Data Vault 2.0 Methodology, structured and semi-structured data sets like XML, SWIFT Payment Messages (MX and MT) Very high volume data, and complex near real time reporting requirements Apr 2019 till June 2020 Client: Financial Conduct Authority Project: AWS cloud based Big Data platform design and implementation Role: Technical Lead/Big Data Architect for a global delivery team (London and India) Key Technologies: AWS, Talend, Tableau, Cloudera, Impala and Hive, Tableau Data Vault 2.0 based data modelling solution with in-house automation tool designed by the team.
