As the VP of Engineering and Information Security Manager at Sonrai, I lead the Engineering team that manages cloud infrastructure, data engineering, platform software, quality assurance, user experience and cybersecurity. I also lead medical device platform development for Sonrai\'s CE IVDR products.We develop cloud-native AI solutions that allow highly performant, scalable, cost-effective and secure data analysis and bioinformatics at a production-grade. We built our own tools to scale Sonrai\'s own cutting-edge AI algorithm development as well as providing Trusted Research Environments for customers where they can have their own all-in-one cloud environment which has been designed to meet the needs of Biotechs and Pharmaceutical companies.Security, compliance and data governance are key to Sonrai and my own role involves leading Information Security & Data Privacy implementation within our Quality Management System (QMS) and ensuring technical excellency with routine audits, pen tests, disaster recovery events and meeting NIST Cybersecurity Framework standards as well as ISO\'s such as ISO13485 as Medical Device Manufacturers.
