Nearly a decade in LED light therapy has given me something I didn’t expect: a deep curiosity about how light interacts with the body, and the chance to learn it from the inside out. I’ve spent eight years having real conversations with physicians, clinicians, business owners and everyday people, learning the regulatory landscape, and developing the kind of product knowledge that only comes from doing the work every day.Somewhere along the way, the question got bigger than the product. I started tracing the science back—from modern LED devices to the researchers who first asked how light becomes chemical energy in a green leaf, and how the same class of enzymes that capture photons in plants also absorb light in human mitochondria. The more I followed that thread, the more I realized the question hasn’t changed in a hundred years. Only the tools have.I’m drawn to where light therapy, neuroscience, and recovery are converging—and I’m excited about applying what I’ve learned toward the work that’s happening at that intersection.
