I\'ve always been a lover of various entertainment – music, movies, sports! But it wasn’t until Graduate School that I took a serious look at combining my love of entertainment with my passion for public relations. My journey was varied - working in Sports Information as a college intern; then for the Press Secretary in the Lt Governor’s office as a Grad Student; and then as a Writer for the SC Forestry Commission. My final stop before jumping into the Nashville music scene was as the Public Information Officer for the South Carolina State Parks Division of the SC Dept of Parks, Recreation & Tourism.I have over 28 combined years of public relations and live entertainment experience, including over 13 years at the William Morris Agency. As an Agent in the Christian/Gospel music department, I negotiated concert bookings for a diverse roster of artists including Audio Adrenaline, CeCe Winans, Israel Houghton, Jaci Velasquez, Joy Williams, Kirk Franklin, Mary Mary, Nikki Leonti, Newsboys, Salvador, Sandi Patty, Switchfoot, Take 6, and others. I also worked with comedians Brad Stine, Chonda Pierce, & John Morgan, and booked specialty tours including the Joy to the World Christmas tour, Thou Shalt Laugh comedy tour, and To Write Love on Her Arms college tour.That brings me to Gloria Green Entertainment - a faith-based entertainment company. I love working with creative people. In terms of consulting and artist development, I work with varied talents, beyond the music industry, looking for ways to help my clients think beyond the norm; doing things other people aren\'t already doing. I love sharing knowledge with those wanting to learn, so becoming a College Professor made sense. I teach students in ways I like to learn - by combining textbook material with real life application and hand\'s on experience.My future goals? To launch my Catching Raindrops in Water Buckets conference, and to finish writing several books I\'ve been working on!
