About Gloria White
Do you believe in the saying “everything happens for a reason”? Because I do! I launched my book club in February of 2020. When I couldn’t find the right gift for my book club members I decided to make my own by pressing flowers into bookmarks. Boom! Pandemic happens the following month and my real estate business takes a major pause. In my spare time (which was every day let\'s be real) I made my flower bookmarks to raise money for women leaving intimate partner violence. When people I didn’t know personally were asking to purchase them in larger quantities, I realized that highly aesthetic flower bookmarks were an untapped market. Page Petal was launched May of 2020 to serve this unmet need. Since then, Page Petal has added a few team members and I went full-time with the business in February 2021. Page Petal has grown to wholesale with bookstores and gift shops all over the U.S.I’ve always dreamt of starting my own company just never knew what and it wasn’t until I started a book club that I stumbled upon this flowery business. So yes, I definitely believe everything happens for a reason.
