From outdoor concerts and colorful celebrations of Holi, to Winter festivals with bartenders and Santa Claus, I aim to create events that bring neighbors together and bolster a strong sense of community and neighborhood pride. Cowell Homeowners Association (aka \"The Crossings\") is a unique HOA of over single-family homes, all streets leading to a common greenbelt that spans nearly a mile end-to-end surrounded by open green space, playgrounds, 3 pools, as well as tennis, pickleball and basketball courts. What started as a volunteer position to bring back the HOA\'s beloved events, turned into a paid part-time position in October 2023. I handle event planning from end-to-end: I create all promotional and event graphics, handle budgets and purchasing/reimbursements, manage vendor hiring and communication, organize the teams of day-of volunteers, and provide detailed event recaps to aid in constant improvement year-to-year. I work closely with our HOA\'s GM and Clubhouse staff, and lead a monthly Events Committee.Giving back is incredibly important to me and we\'ve made it a priority to partner with local non-profits for each of our major annual events to ensure we\'re caring for our surrounding neighbors and making an impact for our city.
