ABOUT GLORIA WOODS
Hello,I wanted to take a moment to share a bit about my background and career journey with you. I am originally from Canada and come from the Toquaht First Nation tribe. My career started as a receptionist with the Government of British Columbia, where I quickly realized my passion for growth and development.Eager to further my career, I enrolled in various finance courses and took an introduction course in System Analysis, which opened up new opportunities for me. I was fortunate enough to secure a position as an accounts payable clerk at the Ministry of Health, where I eventually became the acting supervisor, gaining valuable experience and skills along the way.Seeking new challenges and opportunities for growth, I made a significant move to the UK. Here, I took on roles in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and eventually worked as an accountant. This international experience broadened my horizons and enhanced my professional skills.I was part of the IT team at Leep Utilities. This career change has been incredibly rewarding, and I absolutely loved the work I did. It was an exciting journey, and I am grateful for the experiences and opportunities that have shaped my career.Thank you for taking the time to read about my journey. Remember, it\'s never too late.
