I am currently pursuing a doctorate, with a major in United States history and a minor in Latin American studies. My academic focus is the relationship between the United States and Latin American countries, particularly the US-Brazil dynamic during the 1960s and 1970s. My research explores how energy politics shaped the relationship between these two nations throughout the Cold War era.My passion for history and education has led me to teach at the higher education level for approximately two years.
