With a first class honours degree in Computing and Mathematics, extending the use of data within engineering has always been a focus for my working career.A self motivated individual with an exceptional ability to identify and develop disruptive solutions.Currently working for Bentley Systems ensuring our platform technologies are at the heart of an enterprise’s best practice as part of the Solutions team, a small group of forward thinking individuals.Extending data beyond design, into commissioning, construction and operations has been a common thread. I have worked on various global projects both for my own company and engineering and technology companies which has reinforced the recognition of processes working alongside technology.I have developed many solutions from project management, design automation, material management, standards implementations covering the lifecycle of the assets from design through commissioning, construction and into operations ensuring a balanced and unique view on how to extend the footprint of any solution.I take the view that the technology is an enabler, but should be as transparent to as user as a pencil, ensuring they can focus on their task rather than the technology.
