ABOUT GLEN RIDGWAY

I help organisations create cultures where people can thrive and performance can flourish by putting wellbeing at the heart of how work gets done. I am the author of The Wellbeing Advantage: How caring for your people can power your business, a practical guide for leaders who want to turn genuine care for their people into stronger engagement, better performance and sustainable growth.My journey into workplace mental health began with my own breakdown in 2008, which became the catalyst for a completely different approach to work, leadership and wellbeing. At Jacobs I designed and led the global Mental Health Matters strategy, building a network of over 1,500 positive mental health champions and helping the organisation achieve multiple awards for its approach to wellbeing, including recognition from MIND, NCE and the Environmental Business Journal Awards. Today, through Ridgway Workplace Mental Health and the Workplace Wellbeing Academy, I work with organisations of all sizes to design and implement evidence-based wellbeing strategies, leadership development and training. My focus is always on sustainable, long-term change – embedding wellbeing into everyday practices, conversations and decisions so it improves people’s lives and powers business performance. Typical work includes: • Developing and implementing organisation-wide workplace wellbeing strategies aligned to business goals.• Designing and delivering bespoke training, including positive workplace wellbeing awareness and leadership programmes.• Supporting leaders and teams to create open, psychologically safe cultures where talking about workplace wellbeing is normal.• Speaking at events and leadership conferences on the strategic value of wellbeing at work.If you are looking to strengthen your culture, improve performance and support your people in a way that feels human and commercially smart, I would be happy to connect and explore how we can work together.
