About Glenn Rice

I’m a Florida native, born and raised in Miami. I always say real estate is in my blood! My mom has been an agent for nearly 40 years. I grew up watching her work hard for her clients, and at the same time work hard to build our family’s own real estate portfolio. This rare vantage point sparked an interest in me at an early age, and I consider it an honor to help my clients build wealth and obtain financial freedom through real estate. There is not better investment than good, old American dirt! After graduating from Christopher Columbus High School, I moved to New Orleans to attend college at Loyola University. My goal was to graduate and work toward a master’s degree in urban planning. However, Hurricane Katrina had other plans for New Orleans and thus my path was derailed. Being displaced by the “storm of the century” lead me to Los Angeles where I lived and worked for about a year. Eventually I worked my way back to New Orleans and into the kitchen! Instead of a degree in urban planning, I applied to and enrolled at the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY to pursue a degree in culinary arts. My culinary career spanned 16 years, and I had the pleasure of working for acclaimed chefs like Michelle Bernstein, Jose Andres and Andrew Carmellini. Throughout this time period, I stayed involved in my family’s real estate business and the desire to focus on real estate full time grew. A career in the culinary industry is exciting, but it is also physically taxing, and the hours are not conducive to family life. Thus, in January 2020 when I learned I would soon become a father I decided it was time to make the switch and pursue a full-time career in real estate. I knew firsthand, from watching my own parents, that real estate is a ticket toward personal and financial freedom. The organizational skills, work ethic and passion I honed during my years as a chef have served me well. My clients know that I will work hard for them, and that I am relentless and work hard to ensure they meet their personal goals.
