ABOUT GLENN SMITH

Glenn Smith, CPA, CA, CBV, is a Senior Manager in the Ottawa office of KPMG Forensic. Glenn is a graduate of the University of Waterloo, where he received an Honours Bachelor of Science, Environmental in 1996. Since joining KPMG in 2002, Glenn has gathered experience and analytical skills in the areas of forensic accounting, loss quantification, accounting systems, internal controls and financial procedures relating to a variety of financial, contractual and investigative issues. His background has given him a solid understanding of forensic accounting, financial controls and methodologies, financial statement preparation, review and presentation.Glenn’s experience includes involvement in large forensic assignments requiring hours of detailed file reviews, interviews and documenting timelines and relationships. These files have, in a number of cases, been examining the relationships between different organizations in the Federal Government sector and assessing institutional conduct. In addition, he has done a number of investigations into allegations of wrongdoing.
