I have always sought meaningful work, work that will allow me to make a difference in the lives of my community, colleagues, and clients. I am passionate about learning and using all of my knowledge to help the individuals around me, the groups I belong to and the jobs I work at. I believe that every experience we have, no matter how diverse, gives us new life skills that we can utilize to improve the lives of the people around us. After Graduating from Virginia Tech, I was excited to return home to Central New York where I have found myself focusing on local philanthropy, helping it grow and develop in new and exciting ways. Through my work with non-profits in Syracuse, NY, such as the Rescue Mission and 40 Below, I have come to understand the importance of community based collaboration.
