ABOUT GLENN POWDER CARLSON
I am an Electronic Warfare (EW) subject matter expert with over 37 years EW experience. I currently work for Elbit America as a Technical Director for EW. I was formerly with BAE Systems, Inc, leading a team of over 50 engineers supporting more than two dozen programs and prior was with MacAulay Brown, Inc. at Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC) on Airborne Electronic Attack (AEA), offensive and defensive, key analyst for Air Force Electronic Warfare Capabilities and Investment Strategy efforts, assist on annual budgeting process for ACC AEA programs, and Joint/Service Doctrine and Instruction documents review. I have more than 23 years of Air Force experience in air operations, requirements, test and evaluation, academics, information operations, cyber and spectrum operations. I was an ACC staff officer and certified acquisition professional with requirements, plans and programming, operational, and engineering and test experience. As a B-52 EW Officer, Instructor, Evaluator, Planner (Operations Desert Shield, Enduring and Iraqi Freedom, and Pacific Stabilization), Assistant Operations Officer; I have in-depth understanding and knowledge of warfighting and battlefield requirements and needed technology investments across the electromagnetic spectrum. I managed the day-to-day operations of weapons and tactics division and also directed the Wing\'s exercise and inspection preparation program at the 2nd Bomb Wing, largest Bomb Wing in the USAF. I also instructed, mentored and advised American and International students at Air University as an instructor, research advisor, and course director for both resident and distance learning curriculum at Air Command and Staff College. I currently serve as the President of the Association of Old Crows (AOC). I was previously the Secretary on the Executive Committee, Northeast Regional Director and have also served on the Awards, HR and Membership Committees; I also serve on the local Granite State Roost Board.
