ABOUT GLENN NEWLAND
With 30+ years of motion picture laboratory and management / client contact experience, my background includes post production management as it relates to film, as well as video/telecine and Digital Cinema, including Distribution management. I have managed within large organizations with contract staffs as well as smaller organizations. Concise communication both verbal and written is a critical goal. My work with IMAX allowed me to learn a lot about digital distribution and see, firsthand, amazing advances in the world of exhibition and VR. My studies and interests are focused on photography and cinematography. I have worked on software implementation projects with project management teams and studied motion picture laboratory techniques within the US and in Europe as well and I have been fortunate to work closely with editors, cinematographers and contacts within all of the major Hollywood studios throughout my career.
