ABOUT GLENN MERRIGAN
Started my working life as an auto-electrician, working for a well known firm for two years before moving into the world of marine electronics working at a large local boat yard to further my skills. After leaving there I set up my own business working on both cars and boats gaining contracts with local dealerships. After two years of working for myself I decided to put myself through my HGV lisence, something I had always wanted to do. And I soon found a job driving a 7.5t lorry for a small family run company. I then moved onto a larger Class2 lorry at my next job moving into the world of recovery, this I felt gave me a great insight into what drivers have to go through and was a great platform to where I ultimately found my feet as a HGV driver for a plant hire firm. 6 years later I took over the running of that branch. I then decided to further my skills in transport by moving to Goldstar routing a huge fleet of HGV\'s. I was then approached to get back into the world of plant by one of the best plant firms in the country. After that I found the planning of logistics is what I ultimately wanted to do.
