About Glenn M. Hanson
40+ years of rotary equipment experience, with a focus on lime recovery kiln systems at Kraft pulp mills. Strong emphasis in process design, assisting new & existing customers with troubleshooting, design, proposal, sales, training and start-up of kiln systems. Since 2016, I have also worked with Kiln Flame Systems (KFS) as Sr. Kiln Specialist, concentrating my contact & business development for the lime recovery kiln segment. Seeking to touch base & offer support to all the mills in North America on any combustion needs.I have my degree in Environmental Science, authored and co-authored numerous technical papers and presentations for local, national, and international industry conferences. Active member of the Technical Association of the Pulp & Paper Industry (TAPPI), serving on regional executive committees past Chairman for the Gulf Coast TAPPI Group & 10+ yr. faculty member for the Kraft Recovery Course (KROS), 2017 recipient of the Paul Magnabosco Award for Outstanding TAPPI Local Section Member, inducted as a TAPPI Fellow 2021.Created & organize annually TAPPI KILNCON, the preeminent gathering for all things Lime Kiln.
