A major goal of both organizations is to create a vision of CDI that inspires others in the CDI profession to advance and transform the practice of CDI, incorporating a philosophy that it is truly possible to achieve clinical documentation excellence by working with physicians, case managers and utilization review staff in conjunction with physician advisors to affect positive change in overall physician behavioral patterns of documentation. Our goal is to provide pertinent useful resources in the form of e-books, CDI workshops, webinars, podcasts including Wiser Wednesday-Experience Speaks, CDI Gold and other tip sheets and handouts that can be applied in any CDI initiative to drive real meaningful improvement in physician communication of patient care. Our intent is to provide a forum for CDI transformation including ongoing mentoring to help CDI and their organization achieve its goals through enhanced processes that support the mission of the organization, thereby ensuring stability and sustainability.
