A fellow squadron aviator once paid me the best compliment I ever got in the Navy. My squadron had just arrived at a foreign Forward Operating Location and was preparing to conduct complicated counter-narcotic flight operations. When I walked into the operations center, one of my department officers said “Happy (that’s my callsign), I wasn’t sure we were going to be able to pull this off, but you when I saw you were here, I knew everything would be alright.” I’m not a specialist, but I can do a lot of things well. I have led groups at the individual, unit, regional and industry levels in the fields of training, readiness, education, operations and management.
