As a Technical Director and Chartered Engineer at Arcadis, I lead and oversee complex multidisciplinary construction works on civil engineering schemes, such as the HS2 C2/C3 project, one of the largest infrastructure projects in Europe. I have over 35 years of experience in the construction industry, and I am currently pursuing a Doctorate in Business Administration and Management at the University of Portsmouth, focusing on Construction Senior Management.My core competencies include delivering high-quality, cost-effective, and timely solutions that meet or exceed the client\'s expectations and specifications, building and developing diverse and high-performing teams, fostering a people-first and safety-first culture, and engaging proactively and effectively with project parties, stakeholders, and suppliers. I apply my civil engineering expertise and project management skills to manage risk, value-engineer solutions, and ensure program certainty. I have a track record of delivering twelve major projects, achieving budgetary and quality targets, and implementing comprehensive and well-planned construction methodologies. My mission is to contribute to the design, engineering, and consulting services of Arcadis, a global leader in its field, and to advance the sustainability and innovation of the construction industry.
