As the Director of Information Technology at Village of Westmont, I oversee the network infrastructure village wide for all departments, including Village Hall, Fire, Police, Public Works, and Library. I have successfully managed the village\'s computer network, video, audio, CCTV, video production, and telephone technologies, as well as managed two ERP project and implementations. I also provide project management for all technology-related projects, including several new building construction projects, and manage all technical employees and village-wide contractors.With experience in technology, higher education, and leadership since 1985, I have a unique set of skills that combines video engineering, video production, computer networking, system design and installation, and multimedia. I am the founder and president of SunCom.TV, a pioneer in live video streaming services that produces numerous live events each year for local governments, K-12 school districts, and colleges. I am also an active Board member in GMIS Illinois and a proud recipient of the GMIS Val Andres Award, a prestigious honor for governmental IT personnel who promote the GMIS organization and its goals. My mission is to build bridges between technology and business, with an emphasis on continually improving the human condition.
