The Chief Operations Officer, reporting to the Chief Executive Officer, is responsible for interacting with the community-at-large, developing and maintaining partnerships and collaboration, program development and implementation, board governance and relations, overseeing the procurement and maintenance of grant awards, supervision of office staff/consultants, and overall Institute operations. Through a respectful, constructive, and energetic style, guided by the objectives of Institute, the COO provides the leadership, management and vision necessary to ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively maintain and/or grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency.
