ABOUT GLEN WOOLNER
Glen is currently an editor and consultant for 4Canoes/CANOE KIDS - a highly rated educational book series \'Exploring Indigenous Cultures Through Authentic Indigenous Voices\'- putting out 2 or more publications per year. SEE Glen is passionate about conservation and renewable energy and has been on the board and a volunteer of CREW (Community Renewable Energy Waterloo, as in Waterloo Region) as a founding member. He has been, and currently is, the president of the Ontario Federation of Independent Schools (OFIS). He has spent terms as a volunteer on the Kitchener Downtown Advisory Committee and Kitchener Economic Advisory Committee and Compass Kitchener, plus numerous sub-committees, as well as on housing committees with the Region of Waterloo. Glen enjoys mountain biking, automobiles (especially vintage Volkswagens), camping road trips across North America, photography, family times and playing with his 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. Glen is a graduate of Leadership Waterloo Region (LWR) 2004. Glen was the recipient of the Waterloo Region Outstanding Volunteer Housing Champion award in 2007. Glen is an active member of First Mennonite Church in Kitchener.
