I am a dedicated and results-driven Data Engineer and Migration Specialist with a proven track record of successfully planning and executing complex data migration projects for a diverse range of organizations, including private companies, government bodies, and local authorities.With a background in HM Forces, I have learned invaluable lessons in discipline and teamwork, along with the ability to value and motivate each team member. My natural adaptability and commitment to any given task have been key to my success.Throughout my career, I have honed excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills. I approach my work with a conscientious, efficient, and enthusiastic attitude, whether collaborating with a team or working independently.With over 20 years of experience in IT, I have contributed to the NHS National Programme for IT (NPFIT), reputedly the largest IT program in the world. My roles included working directly for NHS trusts and local service providers (LSPs), supporting secondary healthcare applications. Currently, as a Data Engineer and Migration Specialist, I collaborate with local authorities to extract and successfully migrate data related to education, Early Years, CCIS, and EHCP.In previous roles, I have worn many hats, including those of a DBA, Windows Server Administrator, Incident Manager, Leader, and specialist in Active Directory and Microsoft Exchange, among others.
