ABOUT GLEN SUNNERGREN

Mr. Sunnergren serves as the Vice President of Global Human Resources for the CooperCompanies since June of 2018. He joined CooperVision, a division of the CooperCompanies as the Vice President of Global Human Resources in February of 2016. Prior to CooperVision, Mr. Sunnergren was the Vice President of Human Resources for Thoratec beginning in October 2006 In July of 2011, Mr. Sunnergren took on the additional responsibility of leading the Information Technology function for Thoratec in addition to Human Resources. Prior to Thoratec, Mr. Sunnergren served as Senior Vice President of Human Resources for Ask Jeeves, Inc, where he provided the overall strategic direction of all global human resources initiatives and programs. Before that, Mr. Sunnergren spent nine years at The Clorox Company, where he held positions of increased responsibility in the company’s human resources function. Mr. Sunnergren holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Human Resources and industrial relations from the California State University at Hayward and advanced course work in human resources at the University of Michigan and Cornell University in New York.Specialties: Mr. Sunnergren has extensive experience across all facets of human resources - including employee development, compensation and benefits, training, recruiting, acquisition integration and business process design. In addition, Mr. Sunnergren also has a strong knowledge of IT Strategy Development, balancing the implementation of technology solutions across multiple geographies and driving efficiencies in the infrastructure and operations side of IT.
