O’Neill, Scriven & Assoc’s Limited (aka ONSA) a Nova Scotia based engineering firm that specializes in Mechanical and Electrical building sciences and fire protection engineering amongst other specialized engineering services offered.\" A new and exciting journey has begun in my life (and fellow ONSA employees)… looking forward to the challenges and opportunities that present themselves.Senior Electrical Designer / Project Director responsible for overseeing the entire electrical design, liaising with the balance of the team, ensuring interdisciplinary coordination and providing holistic QA for all deliverables / outputs including but not limited to load calculations; design of power distribution, lighting, security, fire alarm and communication systems; gathering existing building/field information, budget control, energy efficiency, power conditioning, harmonics, fault analysis, co-ordination studies, life cycle cost analysis, feasibility studies and building assessments/audits.Experience in and is responsible for all aspects of electrical building services design, marketing, project management, energy conservation, energy management, co-ordination between engineers and technologists and other members of the design team; preparation of specifications, equipment selection, contract administration and site inspections. Significant, recent and relevant experience in the design of lighting, security, communications, emergency power and life safety, electrical entrance and distribution, discipline building systems, fit up work, commissioning, investigations and reports.
