ABOUT GLADYS DELA ROSA

Gladys has more than ten years of experience in financial audit and reporting. She is currently affiliated with Baker Tilly US, LLP, one of the top 10 accounting firms in the United States of America. Prior to joining Baker Tilly US, LLP, she was affiliated with Reyes Tacandong & Co, one of the top accounting firms in the Philippines and a member firm of RSM International. As an external auditor, she has extensive experience in planning, execution and completion of audit activities. She supervised and conducted financial statements audits of various companies in different industry sectors, including Philippine Stock Exchange listed companies. She assisted clients in the preparation of financial statements, including consolidated financial statements, in accordance with Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), PFRS for Small and Medium-sized Entities and generally accepted accounting principles in the United States of America. She also participated in interim financial statements reviews and special engagements, such as cash and inventory count observations of multinational companies, due diligence and agreed-upon procedures engagement.Being in the mainline audit, she has developed her knowledge on internal controls, processes and transactions of different companies. She handled clients that use accounting software such as Quickbooks, Oracle, Peachtree, Navision, and SAP. She was also involved in providing clients with guidance and potential solutions to improve their financial reporting.She also worked as a Product Planning and Control (PPC) Analyst in Rustan’s Marketing Corporation (January – May 2011).
