ABOUT GLADYS GLADYS JAYAPANDIYAN CATHERINE J

I am a psychology graduate with hands-on internship experience in both child and adult mental health settings, where I observed therapy sessions, conducted case histories, supported assessments, and learned various therapeutic approaches. Working alongside psychologists, psychiatrists, occupational therapists, and special educators strengthened my communication skills, empathy, ethical practice, crisis sensitivity, and ability to collaborate within multidisciplinary teams.Alongside my mental health journey, I have also developed a strong interest in the Human Resources field. I have successfully completed an HR internship and am currently pursuing another, where I am gaining practical exposure to recruitment, coordination, documentation, and people-centric processes. This experience has helped me understand workplace dynamics, employee engagement, and the importance of supportive organizational cultures.These combined experiences have shown me that whether in therapy rooms or corporate spaces, people remain at the heart of every system. I am deeply passionate about promoting well-being, supporting individuals through challenges, and creating environments where people feel heard, valued, and empowered.My long-term vision is to contribute meaningfully to both mental health and people-focused roles by combining psychological insight, HR knowledge, empathy, patience, resilience and professionalism—while continuing to grow as a lifelong learner.
