The Engineering Infrastructure team is a team of ten professionals acting as the centralized hub of information and analysis for the city\'s infrastructure. Data collection, GIS mapping, asset management, topographic surveys and base plan creation, drone captured imagery, infrastructure inspections and repairs, pavement condition assessments, sanitary and storm system modeling, determining capital budget needs and maintaining compliance with regulatory bodies are just some of the activities this team handles.Reporting to the Director of Engineering Services, the Manager of Engineering Infrastructure will lead the development and implementation of processes and programs within the Engineering Infrastructure Section relating to the management of inventory, condition and performance of linear underground infrastructure and transportation systems. The Manager of Engineering Infrastructure is also responsible for prioritization of capital rehabilitation projects and maintenance programs to optimize the life cycle costs of the assets and to ensure that assets are performing at the appropriate levels of service. The Manager of Engineering Infrastructure is an accomplished and motivated leader that will apply these attributes as a member of the Engineering Management Team.

ABOUT KYLE BOSSIE
I am a Municipal Engineer (P.Eng.) and Project Management Professional (PMP) with 13 years’ experience. During these thirteen years, I have developed skills in the technical and management aspects of civil engineering projects. I have been a topographical surveyor, site inspector, Civil 3D technician, a civil engineering designer and engineer, a project manager, a team manager, and currently a Senior Project Engineer at the City of Waterloo. I have been responsible for performing conceptual, preliminary and final design services, contract administration and post-construction close-out activities on a number of projects. I have obtained third party approvals and permits on my Client’s behalf and performed design and project management duties within provided time constraints, coordinating and scheduling work such that project schedules are maintained. I have worked on a number of different project types and sizes, such as- Topo surveys ranging in complexity from farm fields to a town\'s main street to a subdivision- Completing design, drawing production and construction support for projects ranging from small parking lots to residential street rehabilitations to large Municipal Class EA and P3 projects- Managing projects and designs on a variety of sites and locations in Ontario including but not limited to correctional facilities, military bases and both public and Catholic schools- Working with clients from architects, Parks Canada, Ontario Parks, PWGSC, DND, DCC, school boards, CSC, upper tier and lower tier municipalities, and private developers. My current role focuses on conception to construction completion of City capital projects. I manage the project scope, schedule and budget to complete the projects within the expectations of our many interested and affected parties, including residents, other City divisions, and our Council. I do this with hands-on management consultants and contractors, direct liaison with affected residents and businesses, and thorough interested and affected party management.
