Over 15 years professional engineering experience in aerospace and defense applications.Breadth of applications: active vibration control systems for rotorcraft; attitude control systems for spacecraft; inertial and line-of-sight stabilization for gimbals & weapon systems; real-time onboard sensing, navigation, and control of aerial and ground mobile robots; system integration and control of astronomical telescope systems; metal fabrication for architectural applications and energy industry.Expertise in dynamic systems, feedback control systems, digital signal processing, embedded software, real-time and bare metal systems. Design, development, implementation, validation & verification, and operation of new products and custom, complex system test equipment. Problem solving and root cause identification. My cross-disciplinary experience enables me to contribute to complete and cohesive system design.Troubleshooting and problem solving. Logical thought and pattern recognition combined with past experience give me a unique ability to quickly identify and correct root causes of unexpected problems. This ability also helps me to identify and prevent such problems in the design phase.My experience includes-Controls, hardware integration and test, performance characterization-System integration and field test-Flight test and demonstration, including SoF qualification, authorship of test plans & procedures, and test conduct-Team leadership of development projects from TRL4 through TRL7-Requirements development, validation, and verification-Design & development in safety-critical applications in accordance with SAE ARP4754 & ARP4761 as well as MIL-STD-882-Design for compliance to aerospace standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-461, and many others.
