   Principal Security Consultant for Commander, Submarine Force Atlantic (COMSUBLANT). DevelopedAuthorization to Operate (ATO) package workflow for COMSUBLANT submarines and programs. Provide subject matter expertise and oversight regarding assessment and authorization (A&A)- Direct and perform analysis to evaluate, document, and validate new and existing information systems and services. Increased ATO compliance from 5% to 92% in seven months, creating and submitting over 35 ATO packages- Orchestrate evaluation and monitoring of governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) on submarine networks comprising five enclaves per submarine. Perform assessments, identify and evaluate risks, and brief leadership on network and asset status. Present security findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, effectively communicating complex technical information- Provide training and guidance for over 35 submarine crews and seven squadrons. Advise on A&A policies and the implementation of security controls based on NIST 800-53 and tailored security baselines to specific system requirements and architecture- Initiated ATO process for major COMSUBLANT/U.S. Strategic Command programs. Collaborate withstakeholders and cross-functional teams to identify necessary controls, policies, and procedures. Develop and maintain System Security Plans (SSP), Security Assessment Reports (SAR), and Plans of Action andMilestones (POA & M), ensuring accuracy and evidence of compliance- Developing ATO workflow and package for large-scale communications center and Security OperationsCenter. Develop and maintain security documentation, including security architecture diagrams and security configuration policies.
