Hi, I\'m Gjeret.I’m currently the IT Administrator at Vrakas CPAs + Advisors, where I focus on securing our environment, supporting our users, strengthening our Microsoft 365 footprint, and building the processes and governance that keep a modern professional services firm running smoothly. Being part of a multi‑office organization recognized as one of Milwaukee’s “Great Places to Work” has given me the chance to blend hands‑on technical expertise with organizational leadership, risk awareness, and user‑centric security education. I also collaborate with clients and their IT vendors to ensure alignment, reduce friction, and keep operations resilient.Before Vrakas, I spent more than a decade running an MSP dedicated to small and mid‑sized businesses. That experience gave me a front‑row seat to how technology decisions impact real organizations over time—how convenience creates drift, how small oversights turn into operational risk, and how thoughtful design can strengthen security, efficiency, and continuity. Those lessons shape my approach today: clear structures, predictable processes, and systems built to support growth rather than constrain it.While I’ve stepped away from selling or supporting cloud‑based tools, I still maintain legacy access for a few long‑time clients and enjoy staying current with new technologies—not to resell them, but to understand where the industry is moving and how those shifts affect governance and security.Outside of IT, I’m also a lapidary artist and GIA graduate.
