Giusy has 15+ years of experience in the investment and startups area. She is a partner at Primo Climate, a VC fund investing in early-stage companies targeting innovation in the climate tech field. In the previous 10 years she has been active in the fashion and sustainability industry, investing in several digital startups across different countries. She has also gained experience in the Middle East market by working closely with countries such as Qatar and Bahrain and Asia, working with South Korea and China. Previously, she has been an investment manager at Italian Angels for Growth, a business angels network with €14M invested. Previously, she was an innovation specialist at Intesa Sanpaolo Bank, running a programme which supports the business development of high-tech start-ups. Earlier, she had spent several months in the United States working first as a researcher at the Kauffman Foundation, then at the Mind the Bridge Foundation as a coordinator of the incubation programme in San Francisco. She has also been involved in consultancy projects to develop entrepreneurial ecosystems in different countries.
