ABOUT GIUSEPPINA BONIZZI

Scientific Operations and Biobanking Professional with extensive experience supporting translational research, innovation projects and cross-functional collaboration within a major oncology institute. Skilled in coordinating research workflows, evaluating new technologies, managing ethical–legal processes and contributing to research governance, partnerships and quality systems. I specialise in linking clinical, research and technical teams, ensuring that biological and clinical data are managed ethically, efficiently and in alignment with institutional and regulatory standards. 1 IEO Biobank, integration of digital research tools (LIMS, digital pathology, AI/ML), implementation of ISO-iiI work closely with academic partners, clinicians, industry collaborators and Technology Transfer Offices on research projects, collaboration agreements and innovation initiatives. With a solid scientific foundation (European PhD and postdoctoral training in the USA), I bring a practical understanding of scientific discovery together with a growing focus on research coordination, knowledge transfer and the valorisation of scientific outputs.
