I’m a Team Manager at Tesco, leading both day and night operations and a diverse team across Stock Control, Admin, Non-Food General Merchandise, Clothing, Merchandising, Price Integrity, Security, and Cash Office. Every area of the store matters, and my role is to make sure everything runs smoothly for our colleagues and customers alike.What I enjoy most is working with people. Supporting colleagues, building trust, and helping them grow is at the heart of everything I do. When people feel valued and confident, they perform at their best—and everything else follows naturally: service, standards, and results.On a typical day, I oversee stock flow, store organisation, pricing and promotions, cash office operations, and coordinate with Shift Leaders to plan ahead and solve problems proactively. Balancing multiple areas—from merchandising and stock to safety and efficiency—is part of the challenge I love.I take pride in mentoring my team, encouraging new ideas, and helping colleagues reach their potential. Seeing a team come together, work effectively, and feel proud of what they achieve is what drives me.At the core of my work is people, progress, and making a positive impact—for our team, our customers, and the business as a whole. About MeI’m someone who enjoys working with people, solving problems, and finding better ways of doing things. My background in sociology and criminology gave me a solid understanding of human behaviour, which has really helped me in my leadership journey at Tesco.Over time, I’ve also developed a strong interest in technology. I like understanding how things work behind the scenes and how small improvements can make a big difference. I’ve started building my skills in software development — mainly HTML, CSS, JavaScript and Python — and I’m slowly exploring more of the backend as I go. I enjoy the mix of logic and creativity that coding offers, and I like the challenge of learning something completely new. A few things about me: I enjoy supporting colleagues and seeing their confidence grow. I stay calm under pressure and approach problems with a practical mindset. I’m curious about technology and how it shapes the way we work. I adapt quickly and enjoy taking on new challenges.I bring a combination of leadership experience, people skills, and a genuine interest in technology.
