ABOUT GIUSEPPE TOSCANO
Giuseppe Toscano graduated Bachelor’s degree of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering at University of Bologna – Campus of Cesena in 2010. Thanks a research activity at DLR Oberpfaffenhofen (German Aerospace Center - Munich) over signal processing and channel coding for satellite free-space transmissions, He achieved Master’s degree of Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering for Sustainable Development at University of Bologna – Campus of Cesena in 20•••10 cum laude).He was hired by startup Engynya Srl in 2013 in the role of Electronic and Telecommunications Engineer. During this professional experience, Giuseppe worked on two main projects: the first one about research of algorithms and data for diagnostics and troubleshooting in industrial machines (packaging). The second one, He developed a prototype of indoor real time localization system (RTLS) based on UWB technology. In 2015 He was hired by Biesse Group in the role of Automation Engineer. As well as a PLC programmer of CNC woodworking machines, Giuseppe followed some strategic projects, like the Biesse IoT platform SOPHIA, Industry 4.0 connectivity and Horizon 2020 projects. His activities are related to research of algorithms for diagnostics, troubleshooting, fault detection and the development of a knowledge-based system.Giuseppe follows this challenging project that require competences on data mining, artificial intelligence and predictive models.
