Project Manager of \"Connected Drones and Terrestrial Robots\".The project aims to further develop the Cloud Robotics Infrastructure (CRI) of TIM, a Robotic Cloud Platform who enables the activity of different kinds of connected robots (Drones and Terrestrial Robots). This platform is also based on the crucial role of the upcoming 5G Network and Edge Node Computing capabilities. The platform embeds features like: drone management, mission planner (based on different information layers), automatic missions, security fall-back procedures.The platform can be used for Law Enforcement, Public Safety, Automatic Patrolling. The project also involves the participation in the GSMA Drone Interest Group and in the S-EDGE ESA Project (SatEllite anD 5G for Law Enforcement application)

ABOUT GIUSEPPE CASSONE
A degree in Computer Science (1995) with Laude, 1 year Military Service at a Data Center, and a 15-months Post-Degree Master in \"Telematics and Multimedia Applications\" launched me into the world of work in 1997. I stater my job at CSELT (Research Center of Telecom Italia Group) growing my experience in System Performances. I gave the course \"Quality Web Sites\" and I wrote articles spoken during conferences around the world. In 2002 I enter the Committee of the CMG ITALY, the Italian branch of the CMG USA, the most important institution on system performances and in 2003/04 I became the Vice-President. Supposed to became the President for 2005/06, in December 2004 I moved to Telecom Italia so I was forced to leave the positive experience of CMG.In Telecom Italia/TIM, I joined the team that supported the companies owned abroad. I started with Europe (HanseNet, Telecom Italia France and BBNED). I had the chance to follow topics like Network Assurance Platforms, Platforms, Virtualization Platforms. In parallel, in 2011/12 I joined the domestic Team the was working at the Policy Management Platform of TIM.In 2013 I started working on projects for TIM Brasil, supporting the Residential and Corporate Broadband Offer (LIVE TIM) managing 2 projects: one to support the selection (RFI, RFQ) and validation of every CPE used by Tim Brasil, the other mainly oriented to Know-How transfer basing on TIM Italy know-how experts (workshops).In late 2018 I move to the Service Innovation Dept of TIM. I\'ve been mainly following activities related to \"Connected Drones\" scenario and Telco Services based on BlockChain applacations.TLC is not my only activity. I like Computer science, sports, I love photography but Windsurf is what I really love the most and it\'s my second job: since 2007 I\'ve been collaborating with the Mag WIND NEWS writing lot of articles of the paper mag, managing the official FB Page, designing, developing and managing the official web page. Still on Windsurfing world, I collaborate with Pryde Group Italy, one of the most important windsurfing group of brands, preparing for them, all the translations of windsurfing board catalogue.
